On February 10, Dailey and Vincent will be signing CD's at Cracker Barrel in Bremen at noon.  Be sure to stop by and visit and pick up their latest cd - The Gospel Side of Daily and Vincent.  They will be performing later that evening at the new Mill Town Music Hall.

Dailey & Vincent is an American bluegrass music group composed of Jamie Dailey (guitar, bass, vocals) Darrin Vincent (mandolin, guitar, bass, vocals), Christian Davis (guitar, vocals), Joe Dean, Jr. (banjo, guitar, vocals), Jeff Parker (mandolin, guitar, vocals) and B.J. Cherryholmes (fiddle). Former fiddle player Jesse Stockman left the band in early August 2011 due to a wrist injury. Cherryholmes, who had been filling in for Stockman, officially joined the band in August 2011.[1] Vincent is a former backing musician from Ricky Skaggs' backing band Kentucky Thunder, and Dailey was formerly the lead vocalist and guitarist for Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver.[2][3] Vincent is also the younger brother of bluegrass superstar Rhonda Vincent (Rhonda Vincent & The Rage). Valentines Murder Mystery Dinner @ The Sewell Mill    Friday Feb. 10th   7:00 pm

Darlene Hickle has gone missing. The fact that she rarely listened to what any-one told her did nothing to improve her matchmaking business. Her success at mis-matching people reached its greatest height when her computer database crashed. Darlene saw no need to tell anyone of this. Instead she randomly matched couples based on a printout she had of their names and addresses.

 

And now – it has been discovered that she has mysteriously disappeared. She had her company insured and the insurance company has sent Eileen Even-song – a private eye – to investigate

 

Dinner and dessert will be served during the Murder Mystery . Bulldog Club of Metropolitan Atlanta will be at the Callaway Livestock Pavilion in Buchanan, GA on Saturday February 25th - starts at 9:00 am and  Sunday February 26th - starts at 8:00 am.

 

This is an AKC Specialty Show which means only Bulldogs will be in this show.  Bulldogs like UGA.  We generally have about 60-70 bulldogs entered in our show, including several of the top show dogs in the country. There is no charge to attend the show.

 

There will be a microchip clinic on Saturday, February 25th. Veterinarian  Dr. Wayne Rush, of Dekalb Animal Hospital will be doing the micro chipping of dogs.  The public is welcome to bring their dogs if they wish to have them micro chipped.  The fee for microchipping is $35.  Dogs not in the show are not allowed inside the building where the show is going on.

The 27^th Annual Tallapoosa Dogwood Arts & Crafts Fair will be from 8:00am until 6:00pm. Featuring Jim Buckner’s music throughout the day along with the Little Creek Blue Grass Band at 10:30, Local Motion Dancers at 11:30 followed by the Rocky Branch Gunfighters at 12:00. The parade will be at 2:00pm followed by Ashley’s Dance Group at 3:00 and the Providence Church Puppet Ministry at 4:00.

This year’s event will host a variety of craft vendors including Native American jewelry and leather hand bags, Sterling Silver and Beaded jewelry, wood crafts, ceramics and Adirondack furniture. Food vendors offering B-B-Q, fish dinners, shaved ice, boiled peanuts, and a variety of baked goods. Fun activities for children of all ages include: pony rides, train rides, a rock climbing wall, bungee jump, moon walk, whirly bird, swings and numerous games.

8a.m. til 4p.m. at Smith Farm on Corinth-Poseyville Rd.  The 31th Annual Haralson County Trout Fishing Rodeo. Free of charge.
