B.R.I.D.G.E Expo

BRIDGE (Bringing Resources Into Drug Gripped Environments) started back in 2007, stemming from our Mayor Sewell's vision to fight drugs in West Georgia. The BRIDGE initiative has been on hiatus for the past couple of years, but is being reborn this Fall. The GFWC Georgia Bremen Junior Woman's Club was asked to take over and is now hosting the BRIDGE Expo on Saturday, September 22, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the Newbern Soccer Field in Bremen. We are picking up the pace this year with a variety of community health education and fundraising events. The BRIDGE Expo will be an educational event, which will include exhibitors with loads of resource handouts and information, free food, live entertainment, and a kids' play area. In past years, BRIDGE included a 5-K Run and a Sing-Off; however, these will not be included at this Expo.
