About the event
Join us for the Veterans Freedom Ride and 1 Mile Run/Walk. The 80-mile motorcycle ride begins at 10:30 a.m. and leads the Veterans Day Parade through Downtown Tallapoosa. The ride ends at Helton Howland Park with police escort. For more information, call (770) 574-4708. All proceeds benefit the Veterans Memorial Park.
The Freedom 5K Run or 1 Mile Walk begins at 8 a.m. Proceeds benefit Haralson County Veterans Association College Scholarship Fund. Cost: before raceday- $10 per individual or $20 for family. Day of race- $15 or $25 for family. T-shirts will be given to all registrants.
