35th Annual Tallapoosa Dogwood Festival 

 

The 35th Annual Tallapoosa Dogwood Festival—  event will celebrate local living and is sponsored by the Tallapoosa Historical Society with the support of the City of Tallapoosa. Lots of new activities this year. 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. ​

The festival parade will start at 2:00 p.m. There is no charge for entering a float.  Entry forms are available at Tallapoosa City Hall For details, contact Sharon: redroses5587@yahoo.com or 678-573-8073.

14th Annual Dogwood Dash

The 8:30 a.m. starter’s pistol will put the Saturday events in motion with the Annual Tallapoosa Lions Dogwood Dash 5K Walk-Run, starting and finishing at the Tallapoosa Civic and Cultural Arts Center, 245 Robertson Ave. Registration begins at 7:15 a.m.  For more Dogwood Dash information, contact Jaeson Smith at 770-301-2581 or go by Tallapoosa City Hall for an application.
